SHOPPING: Welcome to Burst of Happiness! Here, you will find my bags, scarves, aprons and knitted/crocheted accessories. I hope they bring you joy! My accessories are also available through my Burst of Happiness etsy.com shop, so that's another option, although it requires a simple sign-up. My aprons are at Babycakes Aprons on etsy.com. Sometimes it's easier to see the detail photos of items on these pages than it is here on my site (you can see bigger versions). I'm not a Web site wizard. PAYMENTS: I accept credit cards through PayPal, or if in person, I can take cash. If I know you personally, I'll accept a check. PayPal is free for you and completely safe! With my buy it now buttons, you DON'T have to have a PayPal account - you are free to just make a one-time payment! Just look to the left of the sign-in box and there's the option for a one-time payment. I also have a ProPay account, which allows me to input credit cards. If you don't want to use PayPal for some reason, e-mail me and we can work out a credit card payment through ProPay. NEW MEXICO RESIDENTS: If you live in New Mexico, gross-receipts tax will be added when you check out, but if you're in the ABQ area, you can get out of the shipping fees. I'll figure out a way to get the bag to you in person. CUSTOM ORDERS I would love to do a custom bag for you. Sometimes a 10% markup is applied if I have to special order fabrics or go shopping around the city to find something. I do have lots of fabrics to choose from on hand, and the fee does not apply to these. Please visit the custom orders page for more details. CONTACTING ME I always return e-mails within the same day, so if you don't hear from me, please check your spam folder or try me again. I've been getting bombarded with spam and try to weed through it carefully. I always get back to people promptly, so if you haven't received a response, it is not because I'm ignoring you. SHIPPING I generally ship USPS Priority Mail. I find this to be the best deal. For tiny items like cosmetic bags, I ship USPS First Class mail in a padded envelope. Priority Mail prices (for handbags, totes and aprons): First Class Mail prices (for smaller items, such as scarves,
rosettes, yoga and cosmetic bags): For multiple items, I'm happy to combine shipping. I use
PayPal to figure shipping, and it doesn't give me a lot of options. Either
pay now and I'll reimburse the difference, or contact
me and I'll send a revised invoice. For international shipping, I use First Class International in a large padded envelope. This comes to about $5.50 for Canada, $6.50 for Mexico and $10.50 anywhere else. These prices are more or less for one item. Multiple items may cost more. Right now international shipping is not integrated into the Buy Now buttons on my site. International buyers can contact me and I will send an new invoice and manually remove the item from my site. Sorry for any inconvenience -- I do want your business, I just don't have a super-fancy setup. Items are mailed within 1-2 business days. Priority Mail takes 2-3 business days, First Class domestic takes about a week, but can take up to 10 days. First Class International can take several weeks. |
